Live Art with Robert Eadie
A painting demonstration at "The Valdoe"
The artist began by giving an illustrated talk on his working practise before proceeding to create a beautiful landscape painting in front of a full house. Entitled "Wood Whites" the painting was inspired by memories of rare wood white butterflies and was created using a unique and energetic painting technique. A lottery was held at the end of this popular event enabling one lucky member of the audience to take the painting home!
Reflections of the South Downs National Park
Photographer Michael Chevis is preparing a special celebration of the South Downs. he is looking for members of the public to put into words just what makes the Downs so special in their view. He has already had good feedback, the most recent from Jackie Stewart writing about his time at Goodwood Motor Circuit in the early 1960's. Members of the public are invited to contribute pieces of between 350-750 words about what they feel about the Downs. The selected entries will each receive a signed limited edition giclee print of a painting be artist Robert Eadie.
